First-Person

When the camera (us) becomes the character and we see the world as if we're seeing it with our own eyes.

Direct address

Often confused with a fourth-wall breaking technique — the Direct address technique instead falls under FIRST-PERSON. In this technique, while it looks like a character is speaking to camera, from their perspective, they area speaking to someone. We just happen to be seeing the world through their point of view.
