Magical realism

A narrative technique and genre where magical elements are a natural part of an otherwise mundane, realistic environment. Unlike pure fantasy, magical realism aims to capture the real world's complexity by blending magical elements with everyday life, often without the characters reacting to these magical aspects as anything out of the ordinary.
